Ally and Booboo's Fiji Adventure

In the first week of the holidays I drove to Auckland and we got to go to McDonald s at the airport. It was a three hour flight to Fiji. In the plane we got given some food for free. When I got to Fiji it was late at night so we went to bed. The next day I woke up at 7.30 in the morning. I yelled out to Mum to see if I could go to the pool and have a swim before breakfast. Once it was breakfast time it was a buffet and we got some hot and cold things and I saw them grinding the fruit to make the orange and tropical juice.

Some of the things that we did in Fiji were...

• going to the kids club and playing mini golf
• seeing the lovo being put down
• we went on the boat
• went snorkelling
• played volleyball with my friends

I had the best time that anyone could have in Fiji.

Character day is a day where you bring can of food to school for the Food Bank.  Then the head pupil will take all the food to the food bank for people who don't have enough money to buy food.  We liked getting dressed up!

 

Final Basketball Session

 

On Thursday we had our final basketball session.  We got to play games against each other.  At the end the two coaches each picked one player who they though had applied the skills we had learnt and was a fair player.  Well done Connor and Ella!

My Amazing Blue Crystal

 

Hi I'm going to tell you about how dad and I made this crystal. On Friday I was sick and dad found out about my ice crystal homework, so after we had lunch we went to get some copper sulphate. When we went home we started to make the crystal. It was huge! But afterwards lots of pieces started to fall off and it was tiny! And did I mention that it grew in a week. Well dad made another one and it grew in one night! I was so happy I showed it to class just in case more pieces fell off, and I got to boast about it.
