Rainforest Thinking Skills
We wrote using the Black Hat, Yellow Hat and White Hat. The Black Hat is for the 'bad' points, the Yellow Hat is for the 'good' points and the White Hat is for writing facts. Below are photos of the best piece of work chosen by our Bloggers of the Week.

Our New Enviro Centre
A week ago our new Enviro Centre opened. There were lots of trees planted at the Treemendous Makeover. There are feijoa, lemon, orange, plum, and peach trees. There are bamboo plants and other native New Zealand plants.
Now we can walk along the paths and down steps to enjoy learning about the new plants. At the bottom there is a clearing that we can camp on. There is a wetlands area under the clearing that we can follow the steps down to. There are signs telling people where stuff is.
There is a lookout we can stand on to look over the Enviro Centre. There is a new fence protecting the area.

Booboo and JM's Adventure
Me and Booboo went on a long car trip. We played on my friend's ipod. We had a hot chocolate and bacon and egg muffins. We saw Mystery Creek. Once we got there, there was already 100s and 1000s of cars parked. When we were inside the Field Days we bought some clothing, We saw a big dual wheel tractor. We sat on a ride on go-kart that had a toilet on it. It even had toilet paper! We had a photo with Michael the Food Truck guy.
Booboo also went to my birthday party. We went down the turbo hydro slide at the Aquatic Centre, we went in the waves and in the spa pool. Then we went home to have some food. The saveloys disappeared so fast. My cake was Treasure Island. We had to see if we could find the treasure. The treasure was M & M's!
